session 105 threads

i see that session 105 has 2 threads set (probably a slip, because session 104 has only one, both being oned by the same user). So, if i change manualy the threds option in the blend file, will it afect the renderd job (from the projects server point of view not the actual renderd image)?
i don't need the second core in my machine, but i am curios ...
also, is it any risck for conflickt to apear with boinc, when only one core is set for jobs, but the job requires 2 ?
later edit: ...i naw see that the no. of threads is set to autodetect ...but still, the questions stands!
I seem to recall that the client overrides this setting - or at least "it is meant to do that" (tm).
