It says: blender is not available for your type of computer. I have mac osx. Is that the cause? I have blender installed .

Renderfarm.fi and BURP share the same technology
The two services share the same technology. This means that there's even more pressure for us to produce the mac client and when it's finished, both projects will benefit.
Unfortunately it really is so. We currently do not have a working client for Mac OSX. We hope to fix this unfortunate "bug" in the near future (during the next two-three months). I know for a fact that we have huge potential in the Mac users of Blender.
