Hey guys,

as pointed out in this Articel & Comment here's a forum topic, where we beg for your feedback on the website makeover. Just shout out, what you want to tell us about the new look, why you love or hate it, what's missing or not working properly.

Thanks, Manuel.

  when not loged in, and

when not loged in, and accessing renderfarm.fi:

this text on the first image (how does Renderfarm.fi work?  area)
ren·der /'render/ v. [trans.] <SPECIAL USAGE> - [COMPUTING]
Process (an outline image) using color and shading in order to make it appear solid and three-dimensional.

also, "Play Movie" does not work.

and also in the gallery link:
Gal·le·ry /'galere/ n. pl. ~ler·ies <SPECIAL USAGE> Play to the galler

I for one dont like the tabs order, i would see them better this way: News, Volunteer, Upload work, Gallery, Forum, Server status, About   :D

Anyway, great job at the transformation, i like it !

uuu, new bug :)))  the "save"  and "preview" tabs, of this box, are not alligned. save is under preview, but in theyr proper places, left/right wise.

a:visited Links

Manu,

It looks like there is no different color for visited links. On my system Linux/FF I always see orange links, whether I have visited it or not.

I use that a lot to visually check if I've read a recent post/topic in the upper right blocks.

Thanks for the feedback guys

Cisf your comment has been noted. I think I will look at some other sites that seem well designed from the user standpoint and then decide what the final order of the links should be.

Really appreciate the feedback guys!

It is a lot better overall, I don't particulary like the forums, but otherwise everything improved and working in google chrome perfectly.

Forum Search?

I'm having problems figuring out how to search the forums.

Hope I'm just not "seeing" it.

Dont worry overkill, looks

Dont worry overkill, looks like the search form hasnt been reactivated yet for the forum. Try to bring it back tomorrow, along with the visited links and the other stuff.

Recently we found a "bug" that likely has to do with the layout change on the fly. If you experience weird behaviour of the website overall, try clearing your browser cache. Wont fix the above though ;)

Update

The visited links are back, probably not the best colors chosen yet. ;)

The buttons should be positioned little better now, been working today mostly on the Internet Explorer front, for IE7 and IE8 the page should be at least usable and only have minor issues.

We encounterd a new bug in the gallery comment section appearing randomly, crashing the footer. This seems to be related to some drupal output we have to find first.

And the private message indicator isn't back yet. So check your inbox meanwhile manually, and go for some reloading or browser cache clearing.

More bug reports or complaints always welcome!

Gallery redesign & Shoutbox

Gallery:

I just implemented the gallery redesign. Some minor issues left so.

Right now Internet Explorer users may run into trouble again, sorry guys. If you are using IE and the new gallery page aint working for you, please shout out here! I will revert the gallery then to the old layout until I applied IE fixes.

Shoutbox:

Dont know how it happend, but the shoutbox fell out of place. Just saw it today. Will fix ASAP.

Thanks, Manu.

Gallery visited (@Manu)

Manu,

I (still) depend on some color indication for visited links. The gallery looks better, but I can't tell which pages I've visited. Can you add something to show the link color (a small border/background, or text color)?

Using FF/Linux
