is it possible to cleanup the gallery? there are a lot of sessions listed, which were never rendered.

so, i have another point:) can you make the session title more readable in the gallery? i.e. placing it into that black box under each preview (above the author)?

There's an annoying bug somewhere in our Drupal update scripts which is why some of these unrendered sessions pop up to the gallery from time to time.
I will clean up the gallery today and while I was writing this I might have thought of a simple idea on how to fix the issue permanently. Ask and you shall receive. :)
