Different results; Renderfarm vs. selfrendered
Hey Renderfarmers,
I recently rendered my first session here on the Renderfarm. The render is almost finished but looks completely different to my testrender. Obviously the vector blur (post processing) seems to be wrong or let's say different. How can I make sure to get the same results as my testrenders? (I don't want to "block" render time here, just for testing an rendering the same stuff several times until it fits).
At home I' using Blender 2.59; BOINC shows Blender Version 4.87 (?). Could that be the reason?
Here both results:
Blender Render:

An the same frame from the Renderfarm

Sorry, I've been occupied in making the new clients and handling my academic responsibilities.
I tested this on Blender 2.59 on my computer, and it worked as you showcased. I then tested this on Blender 2.57 (our previous client, and the version used for rendering this animation) on my computer - it worked as well. I then moved on testing by rendering as the client computers are rendering (via command line), and the problem occured: The previous rendering client does the compositing differently when rendering from the command line as compared to opening Blender and doing the render inside it. However, the new 2.59 clients produced a correct result. Must be something in the Blender version which we were previously using.
So, this is already fixed since the new version is implemented? Okay, thanks

Anyone? Any ideas? : /
