One of my sessions was canceled, and upon looking for the forum thread I was disappointed. The session threads don't appear in a category, at least that I can find, in the forum. Also, I can no longer look at a session page by it's id, because it seems to use a name in the url.

~thanks, Istvan.

Sorry

Hey Istvan,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. The scene in question was cancelled because the parts were just taking up too much time (although they varied quite a lot too). This was very much our fault as we accepted the work without splitting it sufficiently.

Some people were rendering a WU for over ten hours, which meant that we were probably wasting quite a lot of computing power from people who don't keep their machines on at all times (like myself).

I'm currently tackling the forum issues (like the fact that the comments made on sessions are not automatically made into threads in the forum) and trying to find out the best way of achieving this in Drupal. It's an annoyance at this point and some of the people who've used BOINC for a long time (most of the crunchers here currently) might be wondering why we bother. However, I feel it's an interesting experience and one that will very much benefit the BOINC community in the long term, as David Anderson has already indicated that BOINC will moving to function on top of Drupal in the future.

Please resubmit the scene and we'll split it into more parts. Thanks.

fixed the paths ..

Hi Istvan,

I fixed the paths now .. all successfully completed sessions (and in the future hopefully also the others) will be from henceforth found under /animations/*session_id_number*.

Still working on the forum breadcrumbs, but I think I will be able to fix that for the start of next week. Later we'll take a look at the possibility of automatically making the comments made to the nodes available as session threads on the forum (as was the case in the old site).
