Twang

Hi all,

As I'm not much of a modeler and even less of an animator myself, I thought I'd somehow contribute and release "Twang" as CC by-NC-SA on Renderfarm.fi. The song was used in the Assembly 2009 commercial. I made it in September 2007 - although I can't specifically remember why I made it, it must have been one crazy and inspirational evening. Maybe this post will also inspire other users of the service to release what ever art, sounds or music they feel could inspire the community. In case you would like to do so, please send me a private message or post your feature request to the forum. I'm currently thinking of the best way to enable users to upload their images and sounds to blogs. Hope you enjoy this catchy pop song - not. ;)

Just thought I'd post this one as we're getting awfully close to the Assembly 2009 computer fair in Helsinki, Finland. This 30 second add will be shown on the online broadcast of AssemblyTV. The add features a postcard that will be handed out at Assembly 2009 by members of the Renderfarm.fi crew and hopefully also by our friends at #blender.fi. The postcard features a competition and by filling the postcard people at the fair will be able to participate in a competition to win prizes such as Renderfarm.fi t-shirts etc. Postcard graphics by Jani Lintunen (Jerico) and sounds/music by yours truly ;). As Ortho would say, "XOXO, see you soon!"
