I'm glad to announce that we'll be again present at this year's Assembly in Helsinki, Finland. We'll have a stand at the fair and will be hosting some presentations from some really cool Blender productions. You're more than welcome to join us at the fair - trust me, it's definitely worth it! ;-)

We'll also be hosting a competition in relation to the show. It's natural for the competition to involve Blender users, but I think we should also include a category for the best contributor (BOINC) as well. What do you think?

New moomin movie + Björk in Helsinki

Just thought I'd post about something completely different, as that's the idea of "The Cafe" anyway.

I actually got to see the new Moomins and the Comet Chase in 3D - with Björk (who wrote and recorded the theme song to the movie) sitting in the same theater. A nice break from the big budget 3D productions from Hollywood for sure - and very little CG. Great for kids - nice voice acting too.
