Renderfarm.fi picked for the World Summit Award

Super news: Renderfarm.fi has won the Finnish representation for the World Summit Award in the category of "e-Entertainment & Games". We officially received the nomination at the Mindtrek digital media and business conference in Tampere, Finland on thursday the 7th of October 2010. Winning the Finnish nomination means that we will be entering to the UN supported WSA competition in 2011. Let's hope the WSA jury also appreciates our agenda of "democratizing" the realization of complex 3D imagery.

Thanks Sami. I just realized the category we're in is the one from which the only two Finnish winners have come. Sulake Ltd's Habbo in 2003 and our affiliate Wreckamovie.com in 2009. Let's hope that magic carries us to victory also. :)
