Hey, this looks quite nice ! I look forward to see the final result.
These frames came out perfect, I;m now compositing the final render. Where shall i post a link to the final version? Maybe you could remove the last three renders of this and i will post a link in the original render thread ? I have downloaded all the files now so there is no problem with removing them.
I think for now you could just post it embedded to this session. The easiest way to do this is to simply click on "source" while writing the comment and the pasting the youtube or vimeo embed code from their site.
We'll make that "animation wall" available later and we can add the embed to that wall as soon as it's finished. It won't be that hard to produce as we're in Drupal, just need to figure out the exact way of how it should work.
Anyway cool that it worked out!
I actually just remembered why I'd enabled people to have blogs in the first place. You could write a small blog about the animation, what it is for and post the embed there. It will then be basically featured on the front page "Latest blogs" list. I'll then try to make the blog list a little bit more prominent (perhaps with some thumbnail) so people can promote their animation projects. I think this could work nicely as this way some story could be developed between animations.
Well, i finished a 720p version, noticed i still have some errors in it, lucky it only looks like 2 or 3 frames. Not sure about the blog idea i will think it over. Lets see if this embedding works.
Here is the latest version.
Sinclair ZX80 PCB Board Render from Dimlow on Vimeo.
1000 Frames rendered in blender at renderfarm.fi This took 3 days to render on the render farm. But if i was to render it myself it would have taken 141 days. This version is only 720p. The 1080p version will be used in a final movie showing the construction on the ZX80.
I tried to embed it , but it didn't seem to work, worked in the preview of the post though.
Anyway there is a link to it.
I checked out your post and the embed code is there, so I think this is some configuration in Drupal. I'll check it out and hopefully the video will end up showing today.
I just found out how to do the blog, never saw it before i went looking for it. Just one question, before i have a go at this, can i edit the blog and save it online without it being in public view. Id like to edit it for a while before its released to the world.

Looking good, now. No errors in these renders!
But seems to be taking a lot longer to render since splitting it to 16 parts, plus i guess the weekend could have something to do with that i guess.
